Hey, everybody! Despite it being a blast this has been quite the week emotionally and spiritually speaking.  Now... I didn't write as much in my journal this week so I'll try to be as specific as I can On Sunday we have these things called Go and Do Experiences. Basically what we do is we have a paper that has all sorts of scriptures and talks on it that we look up, and it lasts like two hours, which sounds boring but it's definitely worth it. You're supposed to ponder and think about everything on it and it's so nice. While I was reading a scripture (I can't remember which one) I felt impressed to look at my patriarchal blessing. I won't go into details since it's sacred, but that was the moment that I knew that this week was going to be a very spiritual week.  I joined the choir! We sang More Holiness Give Me,  and it was beautiful. I felt a strong impression from the Spirit that I should bear my testimony in front of the choir, so I did. I told everyo...

Hey everyone! So this week was even better than last week! I got to see my district in person and they're even better in person! Everyone is so nice here! The MTC is a much better experience when it's in person and hands-on.  Monday we had our last day of home MTC.  Basically it was a couple of lessons plus a wrap-up of home MTC. Monday I swear COULD NOT HAVE GONE SLOWER. Monday was actually slightly emotional for me cause that's the day I left my house for the next two years. But if you know me, I'm always a confident person by nature, so I was super excited for this week, and I am so looking forward to next week. Tuesday was sooo tense cause I was literally counting the seconds to my arrival at the MTC and I was so excited to meet my companion in person. Me and my parents went to the Provo temple to take pictures and we spotted my companion there , so I didn't meet him in the MTC. I met my district in person one by one. Wow guys, it has been an awesome week! it was definitely a bit more exhausting than I thought it would be but it's manageable. I am so grateful to finally be on my mission and meet some new friends! Monday went pretty slow, but the rest of the week was a blur! My teachers are so cool, and I have the most awesome district and can only speak good words of these awesome people! I got the best companion anyone could ask for haha he is basically me! At the end of the week, I think it's safe to say that this is more than a district. We're a group of friends and a family, and I think it's so cool what the Spirit can do to people when they just allow it to come in! I absolutely cannot wait to see these guys in person.  On Monday I started MTS at home, and will be here for Monday, but on Tuesday we have an off day so everyone can get to Provo.
