HAVE YOU SEEN SPIDER SEASON IN AUSTRALIA

Hey everyone! So this week was even better than last week! I got to see my district in person and they're even better in person! Everyone is so nice here! The MTC is a much better experience when it's in person and hands-on.

Monday we had our last day of home MTC.  Basically it was a couple of lessons plus a wrap-up of home MTC. Monday I swear COULD NOT HAVE GONE SLOWER. Monday was actually slightly emotional for me cause that's the day I left my house for the next two years. But if you know me, I'm always a confident person by nature, so I was super excited for this week, and I am so looking forward to next week.

Tuesday was sooo tense cause I was literally counting the seconds to my arrival at the MTC and I was so excited to meet my companion in person. Me and my parents went to the Provo temple to take pictures and we spotted my companion there , so I didn't meet him in the MTC. I met my district in person one by one. I was the first one of our district in the dorms. When I saw everyone,  OH MY GOSH they all look so different than on the zooms. We met the sisters a little later they're just the nicest people.  My district is so awesome.

On Wednesday we had our first full day of MTC life and it is SO COOL. It's like EFY but cooler cause you're learning about going on a mission. We had a giant meeting with everyone there and it was awesome. I'm making some new friends in the other districts on the side to0.

On Thursday we had a pretty cool day, I found out truly just how quirky we are, it's so cool what the Spirit can do to different people. Elder Johnson made me laugh; when we were eating lunch I just heard him say: HAVE YOU SEEN SPIDER SEASON IN AUSTRALIA??? IT LOOKS LIKE ITS SNOWING and one of the sisters was like STOP it was so funny for some reason

Yesterday we had a couple of mishaps! MY companion and I went to the showers and we shut our door (they lock automatically from the inside) and when we got back we realized thaaaat neither one of us had a key so, we had to wait for one. We almost missed breakfast so lesson learned. And another thing: make sure it's deodorant before you spray it otherwise it could be shaving cream and you could get it on the bed. Sister Hernandez had her last week away so she'll be our morning teacher again next week. Brother Woodbreys class is so amazing though he is literally the most inspiring guy. He told us a story of a time when he was on his mission and he discovered a lump in his upper chest shoulder area, and when he was on his mission he said he didn't want to go home for surgery so after pulling some strings he got a surgery performed on him in his mission area. But that's not it. When he woke up from anesthesia the doctor said that when they cut him open to get the lump out, it was just gone. So they dug around everywhere in his body and they couldn't find it. They were about to look in his shoulder for it but the doctor had a feeling not to so he didn't. It turns out that he had an artery or something that was twice as big as normal, so if they even accidentally nicked a scalpel there he would have bled out. GUYS... LISTEN TO THE SPIRIT!!!

Today was the first P-Day so that was cool do do that for the first time in person, hanging out in the laundry room is so cool.

Anyway that was my week, hope this was inspiring! Love you all!
