SO…WE GOT IN AN ACCIDENT!

Hey! This email is going to be a bit short because the week was not very fruitful, and we've been super busy today trying to get everything done.    I need to give a SHOUT OUT to the members of the OP1st ward! This week we had amazing meals and ate lots of lovely food . Brother Dubreuil (a member of our ward) introduced us to this suuuuuuper spicy ginger drink that is absolutely fire (see picture at the end of the email).    #PRAY FOR EIGHT update: We found a guy named Richard, but we've only been able to talk to him once. We are hoping to get into contact again and share an additional message with him.    As for our teaching pool, it's unfortunately been getting smaller and smaller. We had to drop some people, one of which was Henser, who was on date for baptism.    Alex moved...so we had to remove him from our teaching pool. Zamo is a nanny for a family here. WHAT A WEEK!

Hey Everyone!  This week has been a breeze; it definitely went by faster than all the other weeks. A Lot of great things happened, and some not so great, but overall it was awesome!  I've had such a great time with my trainer and companion, Elder Montoya, and the Hickory Hills Ward Elders Murdock and Mortensen. We've had a lot of great meals from them and we appreciate their missionary efforts so much. A few miracles happened this week! I ended up placing my first Book of Mormon! The story behind that is we went to a cool family in our ward, the Rous family, for dinner and we met a nice woman named Z...

Sorry I didn't email on my first P-Day, there was so much stuff to take care of, and I was just so busy, I was lucky to even email the mission president, but I'll sum it all up in this email! This past week and a half has been such a whirlwind. The work is taxing but still fun at the same time. Lugging the bags and leaving the MTC was a little sad and missing home a little and other things made it a little hard inside, but that sadness left when I realized what I was leaving to go do I had to leave at 3:50 in the morning so that was fun...... not. Before my companion was out of sight I shouted: "HURRAH FOR ISRAEL!!" at 3:50 in the morning. At the airport checking in I sotra... forgot my boarding pass. It was ok though because I got it a little while later. When I was on the plane taking off, time seemed to stand still. As we were taking off I thought to myself: "Wow, I'm going into the mission field. I have always wondered what it would feel lik...
