It Was A German Pancake Type Of Week

Hello Everyone, Transfers were this week and Elder Chavez left for a new area. I sure appreciated serving with him and learning from him. I made him German Pancakes the morning of transfers to say thank you. My new companion is Elder Stevens from Pocatello, ID. He is dying here with me in Longview Lake, Lees Summit, MO. He will head home after our transfer together, which means next transfer I'll get another new companion! I have enjoyed serving the past few days with Elder Stevens and look forward to our time together. Our dear friend PAT who is loving and learning more and more about the gospel of Jesus Christ was in a freak accident on Saturday. She was walking and was hit by a car. She went down and couldn't get back up. She was taken to the hospital and checked out. PAT called us once she was at the hospital and we were able to go and give her a blessing. She is healing quickly and might need some physical therapy. She feels confident she can attend church on Sund...
