Busy, Successful WEEK
Hey Everyone!
What an amazing busy week we've had! We have had so much success in finding new people to teach and we are working hard to get all of our appointments every day.
This week we had exchanges with the Zone Leaders and I went with Elder Raventos who serves in the Cameron Stake about 1 1/2 hours away from our tiny town. It was the greatest and best experience to spend time serving the one the G.O.A.T. missionary like TOES (his nickname). We worked hard and had a great time. He is learning guitar and asked me to teach him a few things and I played several songs for him and he recorded it for the entire district and we had great positive feedback. What a neat human he is! So grateful for our service together.
Elder Hancock and I have been blessed this week in finding new people to teach. We are now teaching: Autumn, Wes, Joan, Amanda, Shauntea, James, Molly, another James, and Robert. Wow! Our days are filled with lots of appointments! We are looking forward to seeing how these next few weeks go and how these investigators progress. We will be there every step of the way.
Elder Hancock and I are fully recovered and 100%! Grateful for all of your prayers! Thank you!
This week we have an amazing District Council and it is always a blast getting together with the best and the neatest missionaries ever. Lots of good lessons and teaching going on and best of all hanging out with that crew.
This week we served the Caspair's--the family who live in the abandoned old church. We checked on them and helped them move furniture up stairs to another level of the Church. We found out they have a new heating system installed and it is much warmer.
This week I spent some time studying CHARITY--the Love of Christ. I dove in and really examined what Charity is and how it can positively affect all of our lives. I studied how Christ is the greatest example of Charity that we have. I strengthened my testimony and know that without Charity being a missionary would be difficult.
A shout out to my mom and dad who bought a new home! I am very excited for them and the next chapter of their lives.
