SWEET IS THE WORK!

Hello Everyone,

This week I posted a few times on Facebook sharing messages about prayer and scriptures. I encourage you to watch and let me know if my companion and I can pray for you!

This week we enjoyed a great District Meeting and District Council. I was also able to go on exchanges with the District Leader, Elder Gubler, and it was amazing!

I had fun visiting a family in our ward boundaries who are watching a friend's puppy while they are away. The dog's name is BUDDY and he and I got along great. I love visiting homes with dogs. Lots of toss and catching the ball was happening, and then he would come and lay at my feet. Made me miss my own dog at home.

We also spent several hours in service this week and we had the opportunity to help a family move.

This week we also were told by our Mission President that we will be able to attend the Temple once a transfer (so every 6 weeks). We are pretty excited about this news and look forward to attending.

President and Sister Nelson and Elder and Sister Uchtdorf shared an amazing message last night with the members in Kansas and Oklahoma. I would encourage all of you to listen to the broadcast! This is one of my favorite quotes: "Let us focus on the greatest gifts our Heavenly Father has given us to center our lives on Him and His Beloved Son. I am referring to the Book of Mormon. It is a gift to us from God. It is the keystone of our religion because it contains the very heart, the center of His doctrine."

#PRAY FOR EIGHT UPDATE:

CARROLL: Dropped

BREE: She is looking for a church to attend.

FE: Shows some interest

BOOMATAY'S: We have 3 of the children on book to be baptized November 7th!

ASHLEY: Facebook find

CODY: Facebook find

FLO: She wants to read the Book of Mormon but we only have small print ones and she can't see the words. We are trying to find her a large print edition.

In the Book of Mormon I read and studied Alma 43 and I encourage you to read those scriptures. I know we need to develop a stronger, more full spiritual armour. I am committed to do that!
